Why be an eco-friendly company? For us at Zelaya Properties, there is not a choice. It’s how we live our personal lives. It’s how we grew up. To run our company any other way would go against our core values.
Because of the nature of our profession, we have the privilege and responsibility to inform and educate our clients on what alterations can be made to their designs that would translate into a positive effect on the environment. And often those eco-friendly alterations, mean more green in their bank account when their utility bills are paid.
We are constantly educating ourselves on the latest trends in green building to ensure that our suggestions and options that are available to you for your project are current and they they are reflected in your design, materials and techniques that we present.
Along with our EPA Lead Paint certification, we are currently working on our LEED Certification and our GreenAdvantage® certification. Both of these certifications will ensure that we are operating by the most up-to-date environmentally conscientious practices and we are offering our clients the most energy efficient materials and building methods.
