I work for nonprofits because these are the organizations I know best. I started my business after many years working in the nonprofit sector in areas that included advancement, strategic planning, and communications. Before that I was on a very different career path, working as a cook and chef in the Pacific Northwest and New England. A famous French food writer once said, “Good cooking is when things taste of what they are.” The same can be said of good writing. With every client I aim to communicate what’s distinctive, true, and authentic, and to do so in ways that resonate with audiences and achieve results.
